Nutritional Yeast Dressing

~This is my mother-in-law's recipe~

Fresh Nutritional Yeast Dressing
by Jan Hammack

Description:  This is a delicious, fresh and nutritious salad dressing. It's so good, it triggers cravings and can be addicting...and in this instance that's good! I first tasted a similar version of it at a restaurant called Gypsy Cab Company...their house dressing.

Preparation Time:  5 minutes

Ingredients:     (Some of these ingredients can be found at Whole Foods or a health food store.)
1/3 c. low sodium tamari (especially important that tamari is low sodium, it is richer)
1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
2 T. fresh squeezed lemon juice
2/3 c. expeller-pressed safflower oil  (or substitute your favorite salad oil)
1/2 c. water
2 T. tahini (Middle Eastern sesame paste)
2 large garlic cloves
1 1/4 c. nutritional yeast
3 pinches of salt
2 tsp. sesame oil

Method:  Mix in a blender and pour into 2 bottles. Makes 20 oz.
The dressing should be golden in color and a creamy consistency.
Refrigerate and shelf life should be 1 week.
This dressing is absolutely delicious! It tastes rich and cheesy.
Serve on salads or pasta or dip bread or vegies.
It is very nutritious, rich in B vitamins.
